PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a suction muffler of a compressor for improving a structure of a refrigerant suction pipe and a resonance chamber so as to damp noise flowing backward from a cylinder. SOLUTION: This suction muffler includes a muffler body having the resonance chamber connected to a refrigerant supply pipe, the refrigerant suction pipe for connecting the resonance chamber and a cylinder head part, and a noise damping means provided in the resonance chamber, and reducing the noise by delivery of a refrigerant by separating a radiation passage of the noise generated at refrigerant delivery time, and a refrigerant inflow passage flowing in the cylinder head part.
