<p>PURPOSE:To execute wireless input by providing a pen type input device having a light source which can transmit a pulse and an input device mainbody which has two incident angle detection parts and which calculates the position of the pen type input device from the incident angle of incident light. CONSTITUTION:The input device mainbody 4 is connected to a personal computer mainbody 1. The pen type input device 5 is provided with a battery, an emission diode 11, click switches 12 and 13 and a pen tip switch 14. The emission diode 11 emits a peculiar optical pulse by the turning-on of the switches 12 and 13. The input device mainbody 4 is provided with two incident angle detection part 22. The incident angle detection part 22 is provided with a lens 24, a two-deviding photodetector and a linear motor, and it is freely rotatably supported by a shaft. The lens 24 of the incident angle detection part 22 is controlled in such a way that it faces the direction of light from the pen-type input device 5 and the incident angle from the rotary angle is detected. The input device mainbody 4 calculates the position of the emission diode 11 from two incident angles.</p> |
