<p>PURPOSE:To eliminate the risk of electric shock and enhance the safety by allowing a tilting member to support at least the starter among components of a lighting circuit to light up a discharge lamp, thereby precluding the high voltage part from being exposed to the outside. CONSTITUTION:A headlight unit 2 is formed from a lighting fixture body 3 equipped with reflex mirrors 5, 6 a lens 23 which encloses the front face opening of this fixture body 3, and a discharge kamp 9 arranged in a lighting fixture space bounded by these fixture body 3 and leans 23. This headlight unit 2 is tilted to vary the beam projecting angle. That is, at least starters 37a, 37b among components of the lighting circuit part for lighting up the discharge lamp 9 shall be supported by tilting member 2. This prevents the high voltage part from being exposed to the outside, which eliminates the risk of electric shock due to high voltage parts to ensure the safety.</p> |
