PURPOSE:To form good two-color image which decreases color mixing by detecting the irregular reflected light quantity of the image on a photosensitive body and the reflected light quantity of the image on transfer paper and calculating a color mixing level in accordance with this detected light quantity. CONSTITUTION:A 1st photodetector 17 receives the irregular reflected light of the color image formed on the photosensitive drum 1 and the detected light quantity thereof is converted to an electric signal which is outputted to a toner control circuit 204 and a color mixing level detecting circuit 203. A 2nd photodetector 18 similarly detects the reflected light quantity of the black toner on the transfer paper 16 and converts this quantity to an electric signal which is outputted to the circuit 203. The color mixing level of the black image by the inflow of the color toner is calculated by prescribed computation in accordance with the above-mentioned electric signal in the color mixing level detecting circuit 203. A CPU 201 compares this color mixing level with a prescribed value and executes a sepn. mode and a black sticking prevention mode when the level is larger than the prescribed value. |
