PURPOSE:To prevent the flavor of contents from being attracted to a packaging medium and also to easily and surely perform deep drawing molding by providing a biaxially stretched polyester resin layer wherein elongation at rupture is specified to the innermost face of a food container in this food container having a recess formed by deep drawing. CONSTITUTION:A sheet 10 constituting a food container is formed of a laminate structure having at least two layers. A biaxially stretched polyester resin layer 11 having 150-200% elongation at rupture is provided to the innermost face of the food container. As the biaxially stretched polyester resin layer 11, for example biaxially stretched polyethylene terephthalate resin is utilized. A nonorientated polypropyrene resin layer 12 is provided in contact with this layer 11. Furthermore a polypropylene resin layer 13 is provided in contact with the layer 12.
