PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a simple, safe, and inexpensive apparatus and method for removing PCB that infiltrated into the core section of a waste transformer. SOLUTION: The alternating field transformer core separation washing apparatus should have a doughnut coil, and a non-magnetic container. The doughnut coil generates an alternating field inside space by allowing an AC current to flow. The non-magnetic container is provided in the coil, is used for applying the line of magnetic force in the alternating field in a direction along the surface direction of each steel sheet in a transformer core having lamination structure used as an object to be treated, can accommodate washing liquid, and is made of non-magnetic material.
