PURPOSE:To reduce power consumption by applying a power supply when a dialing from a portable set or a call comes to the portable set so as to set a radio communication channel. CONSTITUTION:A stationary set 4 reserves a channel used at any time when a call channel is set. When a call comes from an exchange 3, a controller 6 detects it to send a call tone from a call tone ring circuit 11. Power of a portable set 5 is normally interrupted and a carrier of the portable set 5 applies power after the call tone from the call tone ringing circuit 11 is heard. Thus, the portable set 5 sends a call starting signal through a control channel automatically. Thus, power consumption is reduced. |
