PURPOSE:To prevent the distortion of white balance when an incident light is interrupted, by fixing the white balance to a predetermined balance, when an incident light amount to a color temperature detector is a given value or lower. CONSTITUTION:When a color temperature signal exceeds a threshold voltage level, it is regarded as malfunction, an electronic switch 15 is controlled with a voltage level comparator 14 and a set voltage generator 13 is connected to a control generator 6. As a result, since a set voltage from a set voltage generator 13 is used, white balance adjusting state corresponding to the color temperature represented with this voltage is obtained. Thus, even if malfunction is caused by the interruption of incident light to the color temperature detector 5, a picture with color tone in almost average white balance can be reproduced stably. |
