<p>PURPOSE:To prevent forgery or abuse by collating the feature information of a finger inputted by a pressure sensor and the feature information of a finger of a card owner stored beforehand in an IC card main body with each other, and permitting the use of the IC card main body on the basis of a collated result. CONSTITUTION:A control part 8 processes the output signal of an A/D converter 2, and outputs the information showing the feature of the finger of the user of a card to a picture memory 6, and simultaneously, it collates this information with the information stored in a dictionary memory 7, and decides whether two kinds of the feature information of the finger coincide with each other or not. Further, it inputs a signal to show whether the finger is genuine or not from a true and false detection circuit 3, and when the finger is genuine and besides, the feature of this finger coincides with the feature of the finger shown by the information stored in the picture memory 6, it decides that the use of the card is proper, and outputs the signal for permitting the use of the card to a microprocessor 9. Thus, the forgery and the abuse of the card can be prevented.</p> |
