PURPOSE:To contrive to markedly improve relative permittivity and to make a porcelain capacitor small-sized and a large quantity of capacitance by a method of specifying the composition of a dielectric porcelain composition comprising a dielectric layer of a porcelain capacitor. CONSTITUTION:Additive components with respect to a fundamental component {(Ba1-XCaX)O}K(Ti1-Y-ZZrYRZ)O2-Z/2 are, in an triangular diagram in which compositions are shown in mol%, in a range enclosed by six straight lines linking in the following order: a first point A showing a composition of B2O3 1mol%, SiO2 50mol%, and Li2O 49mol%; a second point B showing a composition of B2O3 50mol%, SiO2 1mol%, and Li2O 49mol% a third point C showing a composition of B2O3 80mol%, SiO2 1mol%, and Li2O 19mol%; a fourth point D showing a composition of B2O3, 89mol%, SiO2 10mol%, and Li2O 1mol%; a fifth point E showing a composition of B2O3 19mol%, SiO2 80mol%, and Li2O 1mol%; and a point F showing a composition of B2O3 1mol%, SiO2 80mol%, and Li2O 19mol%. |
