PURPOSE:To obtain a polymer material suitable as contact lens, etc., having excellent stain resistance and oxygen transmissivity, by copolymerizing a specific ratio of a siloxanyl di(meth)acrylate and a siloxanyl mono(meth)acrylate each having a specific structural formula. CONSTITUTION:30-90wt.%, preferably 40-80wt.% siloxanyl di(meth)acrylate (e.g. formula II) obtained from a compound shown by formula I (R is H or methyl; Rf is 1-8C fluoroalkyl; (a) and (b) are 1-3; (n) is 1-20) is copolymerized with 10-50wt.%, preferably 15-45wt.% siloxanyl di(meth)acrylate (preferably pentamethyldisiloxanylmethyl methacrylate) shown by formula III [R<1> and R<2> are 1-8C (fluoro)alkyl or phenyl; (m) is 1-20], and further with preferably <=60wt.% crosslinkable monomer such as ethylene glycol dimethacrylate to give a polymer material. |
