PURPOSE:To enable an air conditioner to be applied during a cooling operation and a heating operation and then to get a superior temperature distribution as well as a thermal efficiency by a method wherein an air circulation passage is formed to pass from a floor outlet through a return air suction port disposed at a ceiling surface of an air conditioned spacing back to a suction port of an air conditioner. CONSTITUTION:An air duct 12 communicating from a garret to an air suction port 6 of an air conditioner 1 connects between the garret and the air suction port 6 in such a way as the returning air at the garret is sent to an air blowing fan 5 for sucking supplying air from the suction port 6 and sending it to an air supplying port 13 of the air conditioner 1 communicating with an air supplying chamber 4 below the floor. Air circulating passage is formed to flow through an air supplying port 13, an air supplying chamber 4, a floor outlet 9, a return air suction port 11, an air duct 12, the suction port 6, a filter 7, a heat exchanger 8 and an blower fan 5. In addition, the air conditioner 1 is provided with a suction port 15 opened along a lower frame of a window 14 so as to be along an edge part of a lower part of the window 14, i.e., in a lateral direction. When a cooling operation is carried out, air of the highest temperature in a room is supplied to the air conditioner. When a heating operation is carried out, the air at the ceiling is similarly applied as the return air. |
