PURPOSE:To change a direction for displaying lyric information corresponding to the direction of a singer by providing a designating means to designate the direction of the customer toward the display screen of a display part and a control means to control the display of the lyric information on the display screen of the display part corresponding to the designated direction. CONSTITUTION:The lyric information is updated by a character code, which expresses lyrics stored in the subcode area of a CD, and the update code of the display screen. The character code and the update code are outputted to a CPU 22 and by detecting the update code, the CPU 22 transfers the character code in a memory 26 to a display control part 40 provided in a table 10. In the case of this transfer, the CPU 22 executes the two kinds of transfer systems while switching them according to the pushing states of switches 14a-14d and therefore, the direction for displaying the lyric information can be changed. Thus, although a display part 50 for lyric information display is arranged counter to the surface of the table 10, the direction for displaying the lyric information can be changed corresponding to the direction of the singer. |
