PURPOSE:To efficiently obtain the subject polymer having excellent granular properties and high stereoregularity in a low cost by using a catalyst consisting of a reaction product of a specific organic Mg component with chlorosilane, a solid catalyst containing Ti compound and an aromatic acid ester, an organic Al compound, and a catalyst comprising an Si compound. CONSTITUTION:(A) A hydrocarbon-soluble organic Mg component expressed by formula I [M is metallic atom of I-III groups in the periodic table; R<1> to R<3> are 2-20C hydrocarbon; 0<=alpha; 0<=beta, 0<=p, 0<=q, 0<r, kalpha+2beta=(p+q+r) ((k) is valence of M)] is made to react with chlorosilane having Si-H bonding expressed by formula II (R<4> is 1-20C hydrocarbon; 0<a; 0<b; a+b<=4) to obtain a solid component, and the component is used together with a solid catalyst component obtained by bringing a Ti compound expressed by formula III (R<5> is 2-10C hydrocarbon; D is halogen; 0<=m<4) into contact with an aromatic carboxylic acid ester in the presence of a chlorinated hydrocarbon solvent, (B) an organic Al compound expressed by formula IV (R<6> is 1-20C hydrocarbon) and (C) a catalyst composed of an alkoxysilane compound expressed by formula V (R<7> and R<8> are 1-20C hydrocarbon; 0<=s<4) to polymerize alpha-olefin. |
