PURPOSE:To prevent lubricant leakage into the coolant when sealing failure occurs by forming a lubricant leading-out groove between an engine cooling water supply passage and a drive shaft insertion hole in a connecting part of an upper case and a lower case, and opening the leading-out groove to an engine exhaust passage. CONSTITUTION:At a connecting part of an upper case 21 and a lower case 22 which constitutes a gear casing of an inboard/outboard motor, there are formed independently an O-ring insertion groove 12 in a circular O-ring 11 which surrounds an oiling inlet passage 31, an O-ring insertion groove 14 in approximately rectangular O-ring 13 which surrounds an engine cooling water supply passage 29, and an 0-ring insertion groove 16 in a circular O-ring 15 which surrounds a drive shaft insertion hole 30 at the upper edge surface of the lower case 22, leaving partitions 121 and 141. Respective lubricant leading-out grooves 1 and 2 are formed on the facing parts to the partitions 121 and 141 at the lower edge surface of the upper case 21, and the both edges of the lubricant leading-out grooves 1 and 2 are opened to an exhaust passage 32. |
