PURPOSE:To decrease radiation noise of a steering wheel by controlling generation of cavitation in the throttle part of a pressure control valve through suck constitution as to control an ejection flow rate of an oil pump on the basis of an output signal from a steering wheel speed detecting means. CONSTITUTION:A power steering gear 1 is interposed between a power cylinder and an oil pump 3, provided with a pressure control valve, or the like to feed oil pressure switchingly to be fed to the oil chambers in the right & left of the power cylinder in accordance with the state of steering wheel, while in the oil pump 3, the flowing route of an orifice 12 is designed to be variable on the basis of output signal from a control unit 21 by a solenoid valve 10. A pressure sensor 23 serving as a steering wheel state detecting means is provided between a passage 22 on the delivery side of the oil pump 3 and the pressure control valve of the power steering gear 1. In the control unit 21, a steering speed of a steering wheel 9 is calculated from a time change of a pressure value detected by the pressure sensor 23 so as to control an ejected pressure oil quantity of the oil pump 3. |
