PURPOSE:To enable position adjustment of steering wheel to be carried out easily and accurately while keeping a driving posture by installing a small switch which is similar in its shape to that of the steering wheel with its operation member set in its state of being capable of making its longitudinal and vertical movement operation, in a position where the driver can see and recognize it easily. CONSTITUTION:In a vehicle in which a steering wheel is assembled to a supporter having a column telescopic mechanism and a column tilt mechanism, a recess 30 is formed on a center console 9, and a through hole 31 is formed on the front edge of the recess 30. A switch operating member 32 which is similar in its shape to that of the steering wheel is installed in the recess 30. This switch operating member 32 is provided in the state of being capable of movement operation longitudinally, and vertically by a guide pin 34. Also, within the center console 9, a multiple contact switch 42 operated by the switch operating member 32 is equipped. Further, a switch part S2 for expansion, a switch part S3 for contraction, a switch part S4 for tilt-down, and a switch part S5 for tilt-up are installed in this multiple contact switch 42. |
