<p>PURPOSE:To obtain the subject reed reducible of air consumption without reducing stability of weft inserting even in a high speed by specifying reed groove of reed for an air jet loom in a type of jointly using an auxiliary nozzle. CONSTITUTION:Taper angles having an air flow-converging effect are provided at an upper jaw part of reed groove and a lower jaw part of reed groove and a taper angle having an air flow-diffusing effect at an inner part of the reed groove, then a taper angle thetah at the upper and lower jaw parts is set to more 3 deg. larger than a taper angle thetai at front side i. Length h of the inner side h is set to 0.4-0.8 times of a length L of the upper jaw part.</p> |
