PURPOSE:To complete training with excitation in a short while by exciting a superconducting coil in such a way that electromagnetic force which is stronger than that in the case of making a critical current flow is applied to the superconducting coil. CONSTITUTION:Inductance 1 in a superconducting coil, resistance 2 in a coil, wiring resistance 3, a capacitor 4, a switch 5, and the superconducting coil 6 are connected in series. When a capacitor is charged and the switch is locked in the OFF position, a current expressed by an equation I flows in the coil provided that resistance R or (r) is kept constant with time. In such a case, A is a constant, L is resistance in the coil, (r) is wiring resistance, (c) is the capacity of the capacitor and A is determined by charged voltage in the capacitor. If current value in a peak is Ip, a critical current in the coil is Iq and the relationship between Ip and Iq is Ip>=Iq, electromagnetic force which is stronger than that in the case of making the critical current flow can be applied to the coil and training is thus completed. |
