PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the destruction of reproduction by easily recognizing the deletion of a file designated in a play list. SOLUTION: Information data and the management data thereof are recorded in a recording medium, reproduction control information indicating the reproducing procedure of the information data is generated by designating the reproducing position of the information data in a plurality of designation formats, and the contents of the management information are changed according to the designation format of the reproducing position of the reproduction control information.
