PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To efficiently perform management for allowing a specific user to utilize a regular application program using a sub-communication system only for a specific period, in a terminal device which is provided with two communication systems, i.e. a main communication system and the sub-communication system. SOLUTION: A terminal device 200 such as a portable telephone is provided with a main channelαsuch as a telephone line and a sub-channelβbased on standards such as Bluetooth (R). An application ID generated on the basis of the terminal ID and logical processing programs LG1, LG2 are embedded in a program AP1 stored in a program storage part 140, the program AP1 is downloaded to an application storage part 240, and the period information indicating the usage period of the program AP1 and a 1st key KEY1 generated on the basis of the program LG1 are downloaded to an application authentication part 220. In the case of starting the program AP1 in an application execution part 230, a 2nd key KEY2 is generated by applying the program LG2 to the 1st key KEY1 and a count value of the number of starts, and is collated with the 2nd key KEY2 generated by the application authentication part 220.
