PURPOSE:To obtain a heat exchanger element, in which air is hardly leaked, heat transfer areas can be taken widely and which is inexpensive in manufacturing, by a method wherein reverse-truncated fin-type ribs are provided on the surface of a flat plate type sheet with a predetermined interval while the same ribs are arranged on the rear surface of the sheet so as to be intersected with the ribs on the front surface of the sheet. CONSTITUTION:An unit member 4 is formed by a method wherein reverse-truncated fin-type ribs 3 are arranged on both surfaces of a flat plate type paper sheet 2, which transfers a temperature and a humidity to the other air stream, so as to be integrated in a form that the ribs on the front surface of the sheet 2 are intersected mutually with the ribs on the rear surface of the sheet 2 while a plurality of layers of the unit members 4 are laminated and bonded in the form that the ribs 3 are superposed in parallel to each other so that the flow passage 5 of a first air stream A and the flow passage 6 of a second air stream B are formed. Upon laminating the unit members 4, bonding can be effected employing the surfaces of the ribs 3, which are wider in the width thereof, whereby bonding force can be improved and the leakage of air can be prevented. On the other hand, the width of the rib near the sheet 2 becomes narrower whereby the effective heat transfer area of the sheet 2 is increased and the amount of used material for the rib 3 can be reduced. |
