PURPOSE: A key emulator automatic testing method for a mobile terminal is provided to add a task key emulator which inputs a key code value as a script file or a UART, thereby repeatedly performing a key emulator test. CONSTITUTION: A main program of a multimedia mobile terminal decides whether to perform a key emulator test(S100). If so, the main program decides whether to in put a key code value as a script file or a UART(S110). If the key code value is inputted as the script file, the main program decides whether a key interruption is detected(S120). If so, the main program searches a key code value corresponding to the detected key interruption, and searches a key code value to be inputted(S130). If the key code value is inputted as the UART, the main program decides whether the key code value is directly inputted through the UART(S150). If so, the main program converts the key code value inputted in serial into in parallel(S160). The main program inputs the key code value, and tests a function of the multimedia mobile terminal by a key emulator(S140).
