PURPOSE: A side-view-mirror for a vehicle is provided to facilitate observation of the side rear dead zone of the vehicle by adjusting the focus distance while properly moving an elastic mirror mounted to the front of a housing back and forth. CONSTITUTION: A side-view-mirror(60) for a vehicle comprises a housing(10); an elastic mirror(20) made of a flexible elastic material and mounted to the front part of the housing; and a focus distance-adjusting device(30) adjusting the focus distance while moving the elastic mirror. The focus distance-adjusting device comprises a motor(31) installed in the housing; a screw shaft(33) combined to a rotating shaft(32) of the motor; and a socket part(34) combined to the rear of the elastic mirror. A female screw part(36) with which the screw shaft engages is formed to the socket part.
