<p>PURPOSE:To easily input many kinds of information by detecting handwriting to store it in a coordinate input part. CONSTITUTION:A coordinate read circuit 3b detects the position of a pen with which coordinates on a transparent pressure-sensitive sheet 1 are inputted, and a display control circuit 3c controls a liquid crystal display panel 2. A communication control circuit 3d transmits and receives data to and from the external through a connector 4 for communication. A CPU 3a transforms coordinates of the position of the pen received from the circuit 3b to the coordinate system of the panel 2 so that respective coordinates of the sheet 1 and the panel 2 correspond to each other. The CPU 3a always monitors which area the position of the pen is in, and the processing based on indication of the area where the pen is placed is performed. Thus, data like characters or graphics is inputted by writing with the pen, and data can be exchanged through the connector for communication, and the connector connection operation is easily performed, thereby inputting many kinds of information.</p> |
