摘要 PURPOSE:To make it possible to position an electronic component with high accuracy by a method wherein a flexibility is given to a positioning pawl, the component is elastically pinched by the pawl from its periphery and a sectional shape almost identical with that of the component is given to the tip part of a suction nozzle. CONSTITUTION:An electronic component 42 sucked by a suction nozzle 5l9 is elastically pinched by a positioning pawl 66 from its periphery and the component 42 is centered. Then, a cylinder 50 is driven, a piston rod 52 is pushed out downward as shown by an arrow 78 and when a sliding sleeve 49 is brought into a state that it is made to project downward from a fixed sleeve 44, the pawl 66 is deformed against its elasticity by a cap 56 and the component 42 is brought into a released state. When the sleeve 49 is made to descend, a sliding core 54 is not made to descend and while a state that a pin 57 is made to abut on the upper end of a second long hole 68 is maintained by the core 54, the sleeve 49 only is made to descend. When the sleeve 49 is further made to descend from this state, the core 54 accompanies it. As a result, the nozzle 59 is also made to descend and the component 42 sucked by the nozzle 59 is further made to protrude from a free end 67 of the pawl 66.
