<p>PURPOSE:To prevent misrun and generation of blowholes under stable arc melting by pouring molten dental metal into a pouring cup of a casting mold, directly after that, supplying further inert gas into a melting room and casting the metal under high pressure. CONSTITUTION:After a dental metal ingot 8 is mounted on a crucible 3, the casting room 1 is evacuated and a trace amount of the inert gas is supplied into the casting room 1 under such pressure that arc is discharged all over the upper surface of the dental metal ingot 8 and arc is discharged from the arc electrode 2 to melt the dental metal ingot 8 mounted on the crucible 3. Directly after this molten dental metal 8 is poured into the pouring cup 4a of the casting mold 4, further inert gas is supplied into the casting room 1 and cast.</p> |
