<p>PURPOSE:To protect sound teeth, shorten the treatment period, and liberate from uncomfortable sense by providing a fitting part on the body of an artificial tooth or a support to support it, and thereby enabling fitting on surviving teeth on both sides of the body of artificial tooth or at the outside of the artificial tooth. CONSTITUTION:An artificial tooth 1 is equipped with a fitting piece 5 formed by folding into channel-shaped side view consisting of a front part 11a, tooth face part 11b, and rear part 11c and formed from a shape memory alloy in a single piece. The fitting piece 5 consists of a lefthand surviving tooth fitting part 4a, artificial tooth body holding part 5s. and righthand surviving tooth fitting part 4b. Fitting of the piece 5 is made by heating so as to open the front part 11a and rear part 11c outward, and after fitting, restitution is made to the memory position. As a result, the fitting piece 5 is fixed with the fitting parts 4a, 4b pinching surviving teeth Ha, Hb, and the body 2 of the artificial tooth fills the missing part S.</p> |
