PURPOSE: To continuously manufacture the spring washer by irradiating the apex of the outer peripheral surface of the tip part of the stock of a coil spring with a laser beam, and cutting it in the longitudinal direction while spraying oxygen gas. CONSTITUTION: The apex F of the outer peripheral surface of the tip part of the stock S, is irradiated with the laser beam generated from a laser beam generator 2 installed in a prescribed place which is in the upward direction of the tip part of the stock S of the coil spring in a close coil spring shape. The oxygen gas is sprayed from a supply device through a nozzle 21, and while cutting the one side of the peripheral wall of the tip part of the stock S, the oxygen gas is moved toward a cutting side. Consequently, the spring washer with high precision can be continuously manufactured at a high speed. |
