PURPOSE:To utilize a television receiver as a general one at a normal time and to give an alarm at an abnormal time by obtaining the television receiver in which an alarm provided with an illuminating lamp is incorporated. CONSTITUTION:When the alarm 13 receives an alarm signal from a CATV transmission line 7, an automatic starting circuit works to turn on the power source of the television receiver 1 so as to inform of the occurrence of abnormality by either a video and a sound or by combining both. At the same time, the illuminating lamp 14 of the alarm flickers, a buzzer sounds and the alarm 13 projects about 50mm from the receiver 1, so that it can be pulled out. When a lodger in the lodging is aware of the alarm and pulls out the alarm 13, the buzzer stops sounding and the flickering illuminating lamp becomes the illuminating lamp which is continuously lighted. Thus, the television receiver in which the alarm is incorporated and which is aimed at the lodger, etc., in the lodgings such as a hotel and a home for the aged is obtained. |
