PURPOSE:To make it possible to know time in a terminating world at a glance and directly call up a terminating subscriber without executing complex time calculation for international telephone communication by utilizing a memory registering time differences among a self-country and respective counteries in the world. CONSTITUTION:The above telephone set is provided with the memory 24 storing time differences among the self-country and respective countries in the world. In the waiting state of a telephone set, the time difference corresponding to a certain specified country number out of respective country numbers is read out of a memory 24 based on time set up by a time setting means (clock circuit) 25 using an LSI for setting up time and the time corresponding to the country number is displayed on a display part 23. Consequently, a telephone set capable of informing time in a terminating country at a glance and directly calling up a terminating subscriber without requiring complex time calculation for international calling. |
