PURPOSE:To rapidly tilt the body of a simulated motorcycle to a desired direction according to the change of a course on a CRT display screen by providing a body tilting mechanism for tilting the body of the simulated motorcycle according to the tilt direction and tilt quantity of a handle on the basis of the output of a detecting device. CONSTITUTION:When a player tilts his body on a vehicle body, for example, slightly to the left, a left handle 20a is pushed down, a main shaft is tilted, and a gear 27 is rotated, for example, in positive direction to increase the resistance of a variable resistance 29. Conversely, when the body is tilted slightly to the right, a right handle 20b is pushed down, and the gear 27 is similarly rotated in the reverse direction to reduce the resistance of the variable resistance 29. When the resistance is increased higher than the resistance value in the neutral position of the variable resistance 29, the vehicle body is tilted to the left, and when the resistance is decreased lower than the resistance value in the neutral position, the vehicle body is tilted to the right. |
