PURPOSE:To apply an active electrode to a vital body contactlessly and perform clotting treatment by spouting electrolytic solution from the tip of the active electrode to a bleeding point on the vital body, and generating electric discharge following a connection route which is identical to the electrolytic solution-spouting path from the active electrode to vital body. CONSTITUTION:A handpiece 14 equipped with an active electrode 16, a counter- electrode plate 20, etc., are set as specified, and the counter-electrode plate 20 is put in contact with a vital body and connected. Electrolytic solution is fed to the active electrode 16 in advance, and the working electric power and the pressure of a liquid pump 28 are set from an operation panel 52. When a switch 34 or a stamp switch 51 is turned on, a control part 42 operates a high frequency amplifier 44, liquid pump 28 and gas pump 38, and the electrolytic solution is spouted atomizedly from the tip of the handpiece 14. When the handpiece 14 is approached to the bleeding part of vital body, arc discharge is produced following the spouting path as conduction route, and the bleeding part is heated uniformly in the range of electrolytic solution to generate clotting effect. Clotting of the blood can be made either on the surface of the vital body or in deeper place with changingover of a load characteristic changeover circuit 46. |
