PURPOSE:To prevent the generation of shift or meandering and wrinkles at the time of feeding and to feed an ink recording medium with high accuracy by forming a large number of following positioning holes having straight parts inclined at a definite angle with respect to a feed direction on the side of a non-feed direction and successively loosely fitting projections in the following positioning holes to perform the positioning of the ink recording medium. CONSTITUTION:An ink recording medium l is advanced by the revolution of a drive roll 4 and endlessly circulated along the peripheries of respective rolls while the projection 51 of a follower roll 5 are successively loosely fitted in the following positioning holes 11 provided to the ink recording medium l in the vicinity of the side end parts thereof. At this time, since the following positioning holes 11 of the ink recording medium l have straight parts 11a inclined at 45 deg. with respect to the feed direction of the ink recording medium l, when the projections of the follower roll 11 rotating in connection with the ink recording medium are loosely fitted in the following positioning holes 11, force F1 acts on the ink recording medium l along the axial direction of the follower roll 5. Therefore, the shift or meandering of the ink recording medium l is prevented by the loose fitting of the following positing holes 11 and the projections 51 and the recording medium receives tension in its lateral direction by the follower roll 5 to be prevented from the generation of wrinkles. |
