<p>PURPOSE:To edit a music with lyrics with a simple operation by a method wherein the input positions of the lyrics subordinated to musical notes are individually guided and displayed, referring to the data on the co-ordinate positions of the musical notes which are allocated on a staff displayed on a display device, the lyrics data allocatable to the musical notes are displayed as a table of menu, and arbitrary characters, to be allocated, in the menu table are designated and then automatically allocated and displayed at the lyrics input positions as lyrics data. CONSTITUTION:When an allocating device 1a allocates and develops a staff image on a table information memory 3a according to the edited music layout data, and instructs commencement of lyrics input, an input position guide device 1b guides and displays the lyrics input positions, subordinated to the music notes, on a CRT display 5 of a display device, referring to the co-ordinate information of the musical notes which are allocated and displayed at specified positions on the staff of the CRT display 5. Simultaneously, a menu display device 1d displays the lyrics data allocatable to the musical notes on the display device as a table of menu. Then, when a first designating device 2a designates arbitrary characters, to be allocated, in the table menu, a first lyrics layout device 1c automatically allocates and displays them at lyrics input positions as the lyrics data.</p> |
