PURPOSE:To provide an indoor unit for air conditioner which can improve its function merely by changing the improved unit only, even when the function of a specific part is improved, by constituting a single unit with at least one functional part composing an indoor unit of air conditioner and connecting these units with each other. CONSTITUTION:A single unit U (a suction control unit U19, a heat exchanging unit U2, a fan unit U3, a blow-off unit U5) is constituted with at least one functional part (a fan 5, a heat exchanger 4, a controller 3, a suction port 2, a blowoff port 6) composing an indoor unit 1. The indoor unit 1 is composed by connecting these units U19, U2, U3, and U5. Therefore, when the function of a functional part composing the indoor unit 1 is improved, the function of indoor unit 1 can be improved by merely changing only the improved unit without changing the entire indoor unit 1. For example, when the function of fan 5 is improved, only the fan unit U3 may be changed. |
