<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To efficiently house applications demanding low delay times in low a guaranteed band and applications demanding low delay times, even though the guaranteed band or the like is large to transmit data by independently controlling band guarantee and delay times. <P>SOLUTION: While a plurality of flows 1 to n are classified into prescribed groups and a token bucket is individually allocated to each of the flows 1 to n, for example, the token buckets 32 to 34 are allocated to the flows 1 to 3, a token input bucket selecting part 31 uses prescribed algorithm in this state; a group policer 15 distributes a token 30 to the token buckets 32 to 34 at preset group rate and restricts a traffic flow rate; and in addition, a scheduler 24 individually restricts the transmission time of each traffic flow, on the basis of the delay time of each preset traffic flow, thereby controlling prescribed communication quality. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
