The invention relates to a security device for espagnolettes. The device consists essentially of a hooked rocker lever (30) fastened against one of the sides (21) of the latch (20), in such a way that the nose (21) of the hook of the said hooked rocker lever (30) can be introduced, as desired, into one of the grooves (12) present in the articulated handle (10) for operating the rod of the espagnolette.
