PURPOSE:To prevent a user from estimating the kind of a card and a check level by displaying a time required for each check displayed on a display device in apparent time different from actual time. CONSTITUTION:Every kind of check is performed according to a fixed procedure as performing the exchange of information with a private card decision device or a connected another computer by a data check part 3, and a check start signal and a check completion signal are sent to a display controller 5 at every start and completion of one time of check via a controller 4. At this time, the display controller 5 operates a timer part 6, and measures the apparent time different from the actual time required for each check, and the display lamp of the display device 7 is lit sequentially. When all the check are completed and check completion required ordinarily elapses, the completion of the operation is informed to the user. In such a way, it is possible to prevent the user from estimating the kind of the card or the check level. |
