PURPOSE:To obtain an inclined holding member easy to be prepared of a wall type air conditioner, eliminating the need for separately providing another member by forming a space for a connection pipe between the air conditioner and the wall surface of a room wherein the conditioner is installed, while the conditioner is held in an inclined position, utilizing a part of packaging material for use in the packaging of the conditioner. CONSTITUTION:In a pipe connection work, that is the so-called a left side piping in which a hole A for the piping is positioned on the left side of an air conditioner S, a hook, 1 provided on the upper end of rear side of the conditioner S is engaged with a supporting member 2 provided on a wall K of a room R where the conditioner is installed, so that the lower end of the conditioner is held by a holding member 3 so as to be inclined with respect to the wall K. In order to prepare the holding member 3, a force F is exerted on both ends of a shock absorbing member 6 to break said ends from a notch 7 and the member 6 is divided into two pieces so that an inclined surface 3a is formed, which pieces are used as holding members 3. |
