PURPOSE:To allow recording with the same recording power and good C/N from an inner peripheral part to an outer peripheral part by kneading metallic powder into an org. protective layer or a sticking resin in such a manner that the amt. thereof is larger in the inner peripheral part than in the outer peripheral part, thereby adjusting the recording sensitivity over the entire surface of a recording region to a specified range. CONSTITUTION:The metallic powder is kneaded into the org. protective layer or sticking resin layer of the optical recording medium having an optical recording layer and the org. protective layer and/or sticking resin layer on a disk- shaped substrate in such a manner that the amt. thereof is larger in the inner peripheral part than in the outer peripheral part to adjust the recording sensitivity over the entire surface of the recording region to the specified range. The heat transfer rate of these layers is changed by the amt. of the metallic powder kneaded therein. Thus, the heat diffusion in the inner peripheral part where the metallic powder is kneaded in the amt. larger than in the outer peripheral part becomes better than in the outer peripheral part and the sensitivity decreases correspondingly. The recording with the same recording power from the inner peripheral part to the outer peripheral part is possible. |
