Plastics sheet package for paper handkerchiefs - has overlapping ends joined by adhesive clear of free edge

The soft package of plastics sheet accommodates a stack of folded paper handkerchiefs, being rectangular and with narrow sidewalls. The sheet is passed round the stack in the transverse direction and welded into a hose, each end wall being formed by four folded flaps. The sidewall formed by the sheet ends contains an extraction opening. The overlapping sheet ends are joined by adhesive strip running in the lengthwise direction. This is at a set distance from the free edge of the outermost portion of sheet. From this edge two perforation lines run to points on the front or rear wall of the package. ADVANTAGE - Low cost, and good sealing without using adhesive tape.
