PURPOSE:To heighten waterproofing property by putting and placing water- absorptive material in strand gaps of divided conductor segments, in gaps of twisted strand conductors, and gaps between the segments and an upper layer formed on their circumference. CONSTITUTION:A conductor part 1 consists of divided conductors composed of a plurality of strand divided conductor segments 10, an insulating and water- absorptive tape layer 12, and a water-absorptive strip-like intermediate 13. The divided conductor segments 10 consists of strand conductors 22 prepared by twisting a plurality of elemental wires 20 and filling gaps of the twisted wires with a water-absorptive powder 21 and a semiconductor tape layer 23 formed on the conductors 22. The tape layer 12 is so put as to partition the segments 10 each other completely. The water-absorptive strip-like intermediate 13 is put in the gaps formed by twisting the segments 10 with the water- absorptive tape layer 12 in the center of the divided conductors and the gaps formed between segments 10 and the water-absorptive layer 12 neighboring in the outer circumference of the divided conductors.
