<p>Novel N-dimethoxy phenyl alkyl-N'-imidazolyl phenyl amidine derivatives of general formula (I), wherein the m represents an integer of 1 to 5, R represents a hydrogen atom, C1-3 lower alkyl group, and R1 represents a hydrogen atom, C1-3 lower alkyl group, aryl group, mono or dimethoxy phenyl alkyl group (wherein alkyl represents C1-3 lower alkyl) and pharmaceutically acceptable acid addition salts thereof. These compounds are useful as antiulcer agents. Also disclosed are processes for preparing the compounds.</p> |
