The auxiliary equipment is mounted on the rear end of a tractor by means of an arrangement of pivoted links which includes a strut (3) of adjustable length which enables the height of the equipment to be adjusted. This strut (3) has a tubular middle portion (8) with a screw thread at one end which engages a bolt (11) and a screw thread of opposite hand at the other end which engages the screw thread of a forked end (7). This tubular middle portion is rotated by means of an attached gear wheel (19) which meshes with a pinion (21) which is driven through a shaft. The gear wheel (19) and pinion (21) are enclosed in a housing (24) which is prevented from rotating but which can move axially. USE - Tractor mounted equipment.
