PURPOSE:To improve the data transmission efficiency by sampling, compressing and transmitting at first a picture data corresponding to a terminal equipment with low resolution among picture data by one pattern displayed on a terminal equipment whose resolution is high and compressing and sending the remaining picture data succeedingly. CONSTITUTION:A sampling means 11 consists of a memory 107 and an address control circuit 108. A block sampled by the sampling means 11 is subject to compression coding as a 1st picture compression data, it is sent at first and the remaining block not sampled is subject to compression coding and the result is sent as a 2nd picture compression data. Thus, when a terminal equipment with low resolution receives the data, the terminal equipment ensures the picture data required for the display of the entire screen by having only to receive and decode only the 1st picture compression data sent at first. Thus, in the case of making picture compression data communication between terminal equipments with different resolution, the data transmission efficiency is improved. |
