<p>The spare wheel (1) is attached to the underside of the lorry bed (2) by a triangular support (3) of which the arms (4) are pivotably mounted on an attachment bracket (7). This attachment bracket (7) is bolted to an element (8) which is part of the lorry's chassis, and is further fastened by clamps (10) onto a horizontal rim (8a) of said element (8). The attachment bracket (7) is therefore firmly secured to said element (8) while being easily dismantled e.g. to allow the device to be adjusted if the size of the spare wheel is changed.</p> |
