An electrical power tool, such as a circular saw, has a motor on a hinged plate that can be moved through an arc to adjus the working cut of the saw. A switch actuator lever (9) has a movable link (26) that interacts with an interlock (30). The interlock is in the form of a spring biased link that engages wih a rail (5) to secure the motor housing in the selected positio. The link (26) may be operated to release the interlock to set the position. ADVANTAGE - Provides safe operation of power saw.
