Drying appts. esp. for compressed air - has two heat exchange regions operating in freeze-thaw counter-cycles
摘要
Gas (esp. compressed air) drying appts. includes a heat exchanger through which gas is passed for cooling to the dew point; the heat exchanger being cooled by the liq. circuit of a refrigerator and being equipped with a condensed water outlet. The novelty is that (a) the heat exchanger (10) has two separate independentlyly cooled gas flow regions (12,13) connected in parallel or in series; (b) a liq. circuit ocntroller (49) is provided for subjecting the flow regions to counterr-stroke freeze/thaw cycles; and (c) the liq. is a brine or other liq. which does not freeze at below 0 deg.C. ADVANTAGE - Continuously increasing ice formation is reliably prevented at relatively low control costs and with relatively low temp. precision requirements.
