Flat sheets of plastic material are produced from superficially fused granules in equipment consisting of a holder for the granules, a fusing station where the granules are blown through with a heated gas, and a moulding station where the fused granules are consolidated together. The fusing station is a tower fed at the top, with a conveyor belt at the bottom; the moulding station has at least one vertical pair of conveyor belts, the surfaces of which are inclined towards each other. ADVANTAGE - The equipment provides continuous prodn. of flat sheets. It has a simple design.
